Figured Mulga

An Australian wood, Mulga is the name of a long, narrow shield of wood made by the aboriginals out of Acacia wood. The hard, dense wood was also used for boomerangs and spear shafts. It is hard and heavy, fine-grained and is capable of taking a fantastic polish.
