Imbuya
(Phoebe porosa)

A Brazilian wood with a pleasant spicy odor. It has a nice crisp texture and is used for furniture, accessories, jewelry boxes, etc. Imbuya is a species that can exhibit almost all the different types of figure, i.e. quilt, curl, burly, blister, Pomelle, and mottle. Sometimes we find two or three different figures in one board!
